
- Range in age from pre-kindergarten to university.
- Are children who show significant intelligence through their thinking and reasoning skills, yet in school they have trouble reading, spelling, pronouncing words and/or learning by rote memory.
- Come to us due to difficulty with word recognition, reading fluency, reading comprehension and/or poor spelling/writing skills.
- May have been diagnosed as dyslexic, or the root of their issues may still be unknown.
- May be too young to be diagnosed as dyslexic, yet are considered high risk, perhaps due to family patterns of dyslexia, or other issues. These students often begin with shortened sessions at age 3 to benefit from early intervention.
