  4. Karen G. (Jackson’s mom)

My son, Jackson, is warm, kind, soft spoken and loves to learn something new every day. When he was a little boy, learning through conventional methods was a terrible chore that caused great anguish for both of us.

Finding Marcy and Logical Letters opened a new world for Jackson. Marcy’s unique and logical approach to learning changed our lives completely. Her gentle manner and positive encouragement appealed to Jackson’s quiet nature, contradicting normal teaching methods. He had spent too many hours being told he was wrong, and Marcy’s endless patience allowed Jackson the time he needed to discover his own real strengths.

Jackson is in grade 8 today. He has made Honor Roll. He has been asked to enrol in advanced math for grade 9. Jackson’s story isn’t finished yet, but it’s been an incredible journey that Marcy’s love for teaching has nurtured and encouraged. I’m very grateful to have found Marcy and Logical Letters.
